Feeling rather bad the last two days. But my girlfriend is even worse. She was very ill yesterday and we had to go to the doctor. According to the doctor she needs a week sick leave. Hopefully she gets better.

I keep on compiling. But I just like it. I just got the things I need and nothing more: “less is more”. This means more speed and exactly knowing where is what. Thanks to good documentation is it easy to configure.

We’ll I managed to get Gentoo installed. Now it’s compiling gnome and all it’s dependency(xorg,…).It looks great. For the kernel part I used genkernel to compile a 2.4. But I need to compile my own 2.6. I have a Dell D800 laptop and the 2.6 kernel works better on it.
