Sick.

Feeling rather bad the last two days. But my girlfriend is even worse. She was very ill yesterday and we had to go to the doctor. According to the doctor she needs a week sick leave. Hopefully she gets better.

Busy.

For the moment it’s very busy in my life. Spend much time looking for a new appartment. Every night I visit some, but nothing I like. Next in december I’m getting maried and there’s lots todo. And work is hectic, but we will survive and prevail

Gentoo and Compiling.

I keep on compiling. But I just like it. I just got the things I need and nothing more: “less is more”. This means more speed and exactly knowing where is what. Thanks to good documentation is it easy to configure.

Gentoo is installed.

We’ll I managed to get Gentoo installed. Now it’s compiling gnome and all it’s dependency(xorg,…).It looks great. For the kernel part I used genkernel to compile a 2.4. But I need to compile my own 2.6. I have a Dell D800 laptop and the 2.6 kernel works better on it.

Search for a good distribution.
